Jessica Howe, CFP®

Financial Advisor and President

Since starting at Silver Oak in 2004, I have held nearly every position and have been an owner and President of the firm since 2012.  I’m excited to continue the female-owner tradition that was started by the founder of Silver Oak, Deborah Thomas.

I was attracted to financial planning out of a love of coaching and counseling, both of which are fostered on a daily basis in working with clients.  There’s something magical about helping people realize that their dreams are possible and guiding them on the path to achieving them.

My background, interests and skillsets make me uniquely qualified to work with women in transition and those approaching retirement, especially those wanting to balance having “enough” and being generous with charity and family.

I’m a proud Portland native, with family-instilled values of hard work, compassion and resilience.

To get me talking, mention your food and wine pairings, the last novel you read, your interest in the Hood to Coast relay, your favorite card game (mine is Nerts) or your funny pet story.
