What draws me to financial planning is the perfect union of analysis and service to others. All I want is for you to live your best life, and if I can help you get there by burying myself in a spreadsheet for a few hours, well... I would say I have a pretty amazing job.
Financial planning is a career change for me. I do come into this with a B.A. in Economics and a lifelong interest in finance, but my professional experience thus far has been more focused on letters than numbers. Most recently I worked in book publishing at a literary agency, where I gained invaluable experience advocating for our clients in contract negotiations and had the distinct pleasure of working with them as they wrote their books, too.
Outside of work, I love reading (anything and everything, but especially literary fiction and reported nonfiction), trying new foods, browsing secondhand shops, and taking long walks through parks and gardens with my husband and two little kids. I also enjoy hot yoga, running, and a few rounds of H.O.R.S.E. on a summer night.
